Open Late belongs to the Connection pathway and explores a different kind of night out: one where connection has to be found without the shortcuts that once made it easier.
The session begins with hesitation. There is a question about whether to go out, whether to stay in, and whether the desire to be somewhere else is really about the place or simply about wanting to feel something.
From there, the music gradually takes over.
Warm, rhythmic and unhurried, the session allows its energy to build without forcing it. The more it develops, the less important the original question becomes. The music becomes a place to arrive rather than somewhere to escape to.
The journal gives the personal context behind that discovery. The mix leaves the feeling open: the realisation that connection, energy and the ability to lose yourself in music can still exist without needing anything external to create them.
Sometimes the door was never locked.
